Stroud Town Council will be running a Public Consultation Event on Saturday 2 April at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud. The event will run from 10am to 4pm . This is a chance to meet and chat about the ideas behind the Stroud Town Square project with the people in the project team including...
Chris Woolner - Green Spaces Manager for Stroud Town Council and Project Manager
Helen Bojaniwska - Town Clerk for Stroud Town Council
Councillor Stella Parkes - Stroud Town Councillor for Central Ward and chair of Regeneration Committee
James Hallybone - Landscape Architect for Roundfield Design (Principle Designer)
Mike Cox - Architect for Childs Sulzmann (design consultant)
John Parker - CEO of the Arboricultural Association (design consultant)
We are all keen to talk face-to-face with people who live and work in Stroud about their views and feelings about this project. We hope to share how we got to the point we are now in the design process and also to explain some of the thinking behind it. Many different people use the current space for lots of different reasons, so coming up with a flexible solution is important. Talking to people face to face will be invaluable in reaching a result that delivers the widest range of benefits to the widest range of people. No need to book, just turn up. Come along and have your say.
If you would like to chat about our ideas but can't make the event on 2 April, please get in touch with me to arrange a call or a meet-up. chris.woolner@stroudtown.gov.uk 07791 442314
